Have been quiet recently, mostly because I was having a big existential crisis about my upcoming big birthday last weekend (I turned 30 😉).

The high price of fuel is a constant worry and has been a source of much stress and cashflow issues, so I decided I had enough and just took a fortnight off to take stock and celebrate like a total diva.

I went to Yorkshire for a surprisingly wholesome extreme metal festival and stayed in my van, which was very cosy.

Came back,and had a wh**ky tasting in my fave pub Monty's with all my pals, then had loads of folk round my house for a birthday party.

Went to a pumpkin patch in Ayrshire with our pals and to top it all off, I got to go out tonight with this wee babe for a lovely meal to celebrate 12 years of marriage.

Can't really be bothered going back to work, but now I have a discounted fuel card, it's going to be a lot easier.

The new, more relaxed, older and wiser version of me will be back on Monday 💪

I've got a fairly significant birthday coming up, so I decided to spoil myself and get my own bespoke wh**ky bottled by the good folks at Fib Wh**ky over in Kirkcaldy.

Absolutely delighted at how it turned out.

Make sure to check them out as they are great guys who produce excellent wh**ky.
