Big Recovery Dundee is looking for a Recovery Technician to join our growing team! 🚛💨

If you know your way around a vehicle, don’t mind getting your hands dirty and can handle a busy shift without needing your mum to phone and wake you up… we want to hear from you! 😂

🛠️ WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

✅ Some mechanical knowledge
✅ Minimum Class 2 driving licence
✅ Not scared to put in a shift 💪
✅ Not scared of getting your hands dirty
✅ Able to get yourself out of bed without your mum’s assistance ⏰😂
✅ Reliable enough to turn up despite a mild case of the sniffles 🤧
✅ Excellent customer service skills
✅ Punctual and well presented
✅ Professional attitude
✅ Willing to get stuck in and get the job done

🕐 THE SHIFTS

We operate a rota system consisting of:

🔹 Day shifts
🔹 Back shifts
🔹 Separate weekend on-call rota

Recovery isn’t always 9–5. When the phone rings, we get moving. 🚨

💰 WHAT WE OFFER

💷 £30,000 basic salary per annum
💰 Unlimited overtime & call-out earning potential

☀️ OUT OF OFFICE… (Apparently this isn’t a breakdown!) ☀️

Our fearless leader Gary has officially swapped recovery trucks for sun loungers and has escaped to Tenerife for a well-earned family holiday. 🏖️🍹

Rumour has it he’s already tried to recover a lilo drifting out to sea and has been spotted giving a hire car a quick once-over “just in case.” 🚛😂

Don’t worry though… the rest of the team are still on duty, keeping things moving while Gary perfects his tan (or more likely, burns on day one).

📅 Gary will be back in the hot seat on Monday 17th August.

Until then…

🚫 Definitely no asking him to tow your inflatable flamingo.

We are delighted to be sponsoring this fantastic event alongside Winter & Simpson Print, helping raise vital funds for Help For Kids, a charity dedicated to supporting children and families across Tayside.

What a job! With the industry we work in and the drivers coming in and out the office through all weathers keeping our office and canteen clean was proving to be a difficult task so we made the correct choice by drafting in the big guns at Mrs McD’s House Proud Cleaning to first of all do a deep clean and now look after us with a weekly maintenance clean.

9 hours on site and a ruined work uniform later this is the results ❤️
