🚌 Farewell to Service 184

This evening, our Service 184 completed its final journey.

The 184 has been a familiar part of the Clydebank area bus network for many years, connecting communities including Antonine Park, Dalmuir, Drumry, Clydebank and Whitecrook.

McColl’s association with the 184 goes back around 15 years, and over that time our drivers have carried countless passengers to work, the shops, appointments, school, to visit family and friends, and simply to get around their local community.

Sadly, following SPT’s decision to withdraw the supported 184 service due to the introduction of a new commercial service, tonight marks the end of our operation of the route.

For our drivers in particular, many of whom have driven the 184 for years and got to know the regular passengers along the way, it really is the end of an era.

We would like to say a sincere thank you to everyone who has travelled with us on the 184 over the years. Whether you’ve been a daily regular or only travelled with us occasionally, we have genuinely appreciated your support.

We would also like to thank all of the drivers and staff, past and present, who have helped keep the 184 running over the years.
