Rossington, Doncaster, has seen a massive increase in the number of flies, hundreds are entering homes on a daily basis. It is unhygienic and upsetting to residents who have put up with worsening conditions over the last 2 years.

Evening guys there is a meeting tuesday 8th march at 7pm at the memorial hall ... in regards to the increased amount of hgvs for the recycling center on bankwood passing through westendlane// bankwood... now if you would like to imput thoughts ... we need you to be at the meeting especially if you have a problem with them ...

Letter recieved aswell as individual meetings yesterday and today ... network rail are in the area till the 4th july and you can ring the helpline should you need to have anything clarified

Evening people hope were all well on this sunny evening ..... so the reason i opened this page was to keep updates going and veiws discussed and it has been great ... network rail have now decided that due to over 1000 signitures against the bridge and caroline flint requesting the farrars link to be monitered that the preferred option of the road bridge to be posponed till 2019 - 2024 there have also been other elements cropped up to put to this decision ... the blocking of new lane pushing traffic through that estate ...
The gradient of the connecting roads on the potteries etc ... its to high as they also have legal side to look at ...
The safety of the schools, roads n affected houses....
These are just a handful that were put in writing emails and voices heard at the public enquiry ... so network rail have decided to focus on the 72 crossings as individual cases rather than one case open and shut...
So during the years of re-evaluatiom they will start from the beginning taking all concerns into the investigation of road traffic in and out of station/westend lane ... the preferred option is the road bridge and this is still where its heading but in light of that any thing could happen .... so on that note i shall leave the page open and will update you on every new info thats given to us and i also thank you all as ur veiws on here have been taken note of too ... so thanks again ..... take care and enjoy this beut weather :*)
