Our new signalling is progressing well, however in a recent scheduled inspection we have discovered serious corrosion on our track over river bridge.
The bridge must be replaced before we can use it with public trains and is used in all our main routes.
This is very disappointing for our members and our visitors alike.
At this stage it is difficult to give a definite time scale for the work as we are still pricing the options, but we anticipate significant investment will be required.
it is possible that we will not be open until 2026. We hope that this is not the case, but we do not want to give children false hope.
As soon as we are ready to reopen we will of course let everyone know on this page.
Please do not rely on Google Maps info as it regularly gets updated without our consent or knowledge.
