It's the start of European Testing Week!



Did you know, you can catch hepatitis in several ways:



- Sharing needles or other drug-related items such as straws, spoons, etc.

- Having medical, dental or aesthetic procedures with unsterilised equipment

- Engaging in chems*x, or having rough, a**l or unprotected s*x with someone who has hep C

- Sharing personal care items such as a toothbrush or razor

- Blood transfusion or organ donation before 1996



With both hepatitis B and C, sometimes people have no symptoms or have mild symptoms for a few weeks, including fever, tiredness, reduced appetite, and vomiting. It’s best to get tested as both Hep B and Hep C can lead to serious health issues, such as liver damage, if left untreated.



We offer free, straightforward testing for Hep B, Hep C and HIV. To find out more about getting tested, call us on 01484 353333, and someone from our friendly team will be in touch.

We're hiring a Titration Specialist Recovery Coordinator who can assess and engage with our service users, ensuring they access the right intervention at the right time, in a way that best meets their needs.



As a Titration Specialist, you'll support new op**te users prescribed MAT through their Recovery Journey until they are effectively titrated to an optimal dose, and you'll also deliver our Rapid Access drop-ins.

Today is International Nurses’ Day. We wanted to take a moment to appreciate the dedication, compassion, and tireless effort of our nurses and NMPs.



Their commitment to improving the quality of the lives of the people we work with is truly inspiring. Going above and beyond, often without recognition for doing so, they ensure safe and compassionate care for the people who need it the most.



Complex tasks are consistently tackled with kindness, empathy and professionalism, and the real-world impact is seismic. Improvements in both physical and mental health are always at the forefront, but positive developments in the relationships people have with their families, criminal justice, healthcare and the wider community are by-products of their interactions.

Today is International Harm Reduction Day.

We want to raise awareness of the alarming rise in Nitazenes being found in the UK drug supply. Nitazenes are synthetic opioids which are significantly stronger than he**in, increasing the risk of fatal overdose.

To help combat this, we offer free Nitazenes, Fentanyl and Xylazine testing kits for anyone to take home, regardless of whether they are in treatment with us or not.
