What a crisp one it was out there — close to freezing all night and especially crossing the moors on the way back from Manchester Airport this morning. Even the ice risk warning popped up on the dashboard, now I can't quite remember when I last saw that pop up ⚠️😬

✈️ MANCHESTER AIRPORT T2 ✈️

IMPORTANT NOTICE

For all customers travelling from Manchester Airport Terminal 2, please be aware that we use both the upper and lower drop off zones.

🚕 Where possible, we will use the upper level as this allows us to get you directly into departures at no extra cost despite Manchester Airport not giving us our concession discount when dropping off here because we like to ensure our customers are dropped off as close as possible but our drivers may need to drop you off in the lower zone if the upper level is inaccessible. It's just a ride up in the lift to departures from here.

Manchester Airport starts charging us while we're still queuing, before we've even reached a drop-off bay. This can result in additional charges being incurred before we can safely drop off.

♿ SPECIAL ASSISTANCE?

If you have booked Special Assistance, please tell us when making your booking. We need to know so our driver can ensure you are dropped on the upper level at the assistance desk.

We always do our best to get you to the most suitable drop-off point, but airport traffic and access are sometimes beyond our control.

✈️ One person’s behaviour really does affect everyone else coming home ✈️

My lovely passengers on this flight were all set to land nice and on time this morning but a disruptive passenger causing chaos on board just before departure has meant everyone on board is suffering with a nasty delay - the passenger was eventually removed off the flight and refused travel but his behaviour has caused innocent people to arrive home later than expected.

It’s such a good reminder: when you’re flying, please respect everyone around you — and especially our cabin crew. They work incredibly hard to keep you safe up there. They don’t deserve abuse, and neither does anyone else. One person’s poor choices really do impact every single person.

On the brighter side… it’s actually worked out well for me! I brought a lovely family over to the airport not so long ago, and with plenty of time to spare so instead of heading back empty, I’m now waiting for this flight to touch down! 🙌

Quick stop to fill the tank while I wait, then it’s heading back over to Idle, Bradford.

As for the M62 reopening? 🤔

Chances look pretty slim — the resurfacing between J22–J23 was well underway when I came over. Fingers crossed they wrap up early, but I’ll be ready for whatever the road throws at us!

WE’VE LAUNCHED A PETITION ✈️

After seeing the ongoing congestion, unfair penalties, and unsafe conditions at Terminal 2 day after day and seeing our post from last night regarding the situation reach over 53 000 people organically all who share the same frustration, we’ve decided to set up this petition to call for real change which will benefit EVERYONE using the airport including passengers, drivers, local businesses and many more.

If there is anything I have missed or something you think is important to include, please comment below and I will happily add it but I think I have covered the main demands.

We’re not asking for an overnight miracle, just fair, simple, practical solutions!

✅ Scrap the impossible 15-minute limit — pay only for time actually there

✅ Stop £100 fines when delays are caused by the airport’s own congestion

✅ Improve roundabout & traffic management so traffic can flow smoothly.

✅ Make pickup zones safe — keep passengers away from waiting in the path of moving vehicles, waiting in parking bays to stop drivers parking dangerously to pickup.

✅ Open T2 East Multi-Storey at peak times to spread crowds & ease pressure

✅ Consult local drivers & businesses before changing the rules

These are common-sense changes — no grand projects, just fairness and safety for passengers, families, and drivers 💙

Manchester Airport Terminal 2 — Fix the Chaos, Stop Unfair Fines, Make It Safe for All

⚠️ MANCHESTER AIRPORT PICKUPS

As many of you know, navigating around Manchester Airport to pick up or drop off is no simple task anymore and it's becoming worse every day with the congestion 🙁

So many of you have told us you’re thinking of flying from other airports next time purely because it’s become so chaotic and stressful arriving and flying from here and we absolutely agree with you because it's an absolute joke 💔

There are currently significant queues of traffic, with vehicles all trying to access the airport’s pickup and drop-off zones. What was once a relatively straightforward and simple process is now very frustrating and time consuming.

When all three terminals were operating more evenly, we simply didn’t experience congestion on this scale. With Terminal 2 now handling the majority of arrivals and departures as you can imagine it becomes absolutely bottle necked doesn't matter which shortcut is taken you will always get stuck somewhere!

Normally, once you have collected your luggage and call us to say “I’m ready”, our driver would typically expect to be with you within 5 minutes from the point where we sit and wait.

Unfortunately, this is no longer the case.

Despite our drivers often being only a few minutes away from the airport, the congestion approaching the pickup areas and car parks can mean it is now taking 20–30 minutes or even longer to reach you. This is a simple few minutes drive to the terminal and becomes gridlocked.

🚗 This is not a delay caused by drivers.

🚦 It is the traffic and access arrangements around the airport that are causing the problem.

This isn’t how it should be. We pride ourselves on being quick, reliable, there when you land and right now, the airport setup is making that so difficult. It’s frustrating for you, and for us too 😞

We’ll keep you updated, we’ll get there as fast as we possibly can, and we’ll keep fighting for you. But please bear with us, allow extra time, and know we’re just as frustrated as you are 💙

We’ve now started assigning all October bookings across to our team of drivers! 🚘

As always all bookings that we take are covered by our own team of dedicated drivers - we strictly refrain from subcontracting any work out to any other operator to complete on our behalf because we believe all our customers should receive the great service we're proud of ❤️

Please allow up to 24 hours to receive your driver & vehicle details — our drivers carefully review and accept each booking through their app, our system then automatically sends their details over to you on a email for you to save.

We know how important it is to have everything confirmed before you travel, and we truly appreciate your patience as we work through what’s shaping up to be another busy month.
