Kanghua has been announced as official boat provider for the 2026 World Rowing Coastal Championships held in Qingdao China from 11-13 October, and will be offering both boat rentals and a repair service for the duration of the regatta.
If you would like to rent a Kanghua boat for the championship, please do get in touch.

A lot of people have been asking when they are going to see my boat Dorney back on the river.

Unfortunately, over the winter, I found a big issue under the rear deck and, as a result, I have had to remove and then rebuild the back end of the boat. I've nearly finished this now and am getting ready to revarnish.

So hopefully just a couple more weeks and Dorney will be back on the water looking as good as she did last year!

Many of you have asked to see more of the repairs that we carry out here at ES Rowing Services. Well, here is something a little different.

We have been doing a bit of work with the TVR race team Rassler Racing, who came to us with a car that had just won at Le Mans.
Unfortunately, soon after the race, it was involved in a crash during a practice session, severely damaging three corners of the car.
The moulds for these cars no longer exist, so they came to us to see if we could help.

You can see in the photos below how we created moulds to restore the original shape of the car. We then relaminated the outer skin and repainted the car in its original metallic finish. The car is looking as good as new and will be back on the track in a few weeks - another example of how extraordinarily skilled the guys are here at ES Rowing Services, and how they can turn those skills to more or less anything, not just boats!
