Long post and lots of images, but i want to show just how enjoyable this job can be sometimes, for me, and hopefully our clients.

Today we had full-day tour through the Peak District for two clients staying on the Chatsworth Estate.

The tour itinerary had been discussed by email with our American clients before the reached our shores and was presented to them on an ipad so they could read more information about the places we visited as they travelled in comfort in the back of the i7

After collecting our clients from the Chatsworth estate, we began with a gentle wander around Ashford in the Water and Thornbridge Manor before continuing to Monsal Head for one of the best-known views in Derbyshire.

From there, we visited Tideswell followed by Buxton’s Crescent, Opera House and Pavilion Gardens for lunch.

The afternoon brought the more dramatic scenery. We headed towards Mam Tor for a hike and some far-reaching views, then travelled through Winnats Pass and Castleton before continuing around the Hope Valley, Ladybower, Bamford Edge and some of the quieter roads that make this part of Derbyshire such a pleasure to explore.

There was just enough autumn sunshine to make the scenery look suitably spectacular, although the Peak District did provide its customary mixture of blue skies, threatening clouds and several seasons in the space of an afternoon.

The day finished at Fischer’s Baslow Hall in time for dinner, which seemed a considerably more civilised conclusion than being handed a packed lunch and pointed towards a coach park :D

I think we covered a lot of the "must see's" in our tour today but where would you take someone who had never been to the Peak District before?

This time last week I was relaxing with a b**r and fine greek food in Rhodes .... The main Road i've seen today is the grey M1 with a pick up for a lovely American couple from The Langham Hotel in Mayfair to The rather fantastic Hunting Tower overlooking Chatsworth house, where they will be staying for a week and enjoying a few days touring the lovely Derbyshire countryside with us 😍

East Midlands Airport - hearing that the drop off fee will be increased from £5 for 15 minutes to £8 for 10 minutes from 15:00 on the 29th September .

Strangely - i cannot see this advertised on your socials so could you confirm if this is true or not ?

(i'm not expecting a reply obviously - just another increase that we will have to absorb for all the bookings that are already in our diary :( )
