To all of our Mercia Marina customers

With deep regret, our Willington branch of Streethay permanently closed on Friday 6th March 2026 at 1pm.

All boaters’ keys that we were holding and had not been collected, were dropped off at the Mercia marina office on Friday morning.

All customer records have been transferred to our Lichfield branch. If you have any account queries, please ring 01543 414808 and ask for Emma.

The Streethay Engineering email address ([email protected]) will continue to be monitored, so existing customers can carry on using this address. The alternative email address is [email protected].

To access the boat yard - when you get to the Hilliards Cross junction, you will either stay on the A38 to be escorted down to the boatyard, or, you may be diverted off the A38 to then be escorted to the boatyard..

It would seem, bow thrusters are the Marmite of the boating community! Here's another great job carried out by one of our welders, Flo 😊
We blocked off a bow thruster for a customer, and I think word has gotten out, because now we have more people enquiring!
It will need to be done while the boat is in the dry dock, so opting to do it when you're in for blacking is the best time.

We've been busy this year removing steel toilet tanks, but this is a first... replacing the steel tank with a plastic tank. Customer's are generally removing the steel tank and replacing their drop down toilet with a cassette toilet. This is because, in some boats, one side of the steel toilet tank is actually the hull and as time goes on, human waste will rot through the steel. As well as that, look at all that potential storage space! if you are debating having your toilet tank removed, drop me an email on [email protected], we have a set price for toilet tank removal, which includes dismantling the bed, grinding, welding and 2-pack epoxy painting.
