This yacht has appeared on our moorings in Old Mill Creek and appears to have been abandoned. If anyone has any information regarding its ownership we would be grateful if you could contact us at [email protected]. Assuming we can't track down the owner, we would also like to hear from anyone who might be interested in acquiring it.

The Harbour Authority are developing a masterplan, putting together an outline of what we want Dart Harbour to look like in 2050. They want our help!

They’ve put together the first part of the plan, which describes the current state of the harbour, covering our markets, navigation & safety, environment, community & heritage, infrastructure, safety and staff.

It's well worth a read, and we encourage you to get involved in the development of this plan:

With Storm Ciaran on it’s way if anyone who isn’t able to check their boat on the Dart and would like a free check carried out please give us a call on 01803 228500. We will be on the river on the 1st November checking customer boats so please feel free to drop us a line with your boat details and mooring number and we would be more than happy to add it to our rounds.

We are a traditional boatyard on the river Dart, near Dartmouth. We have strong winds and rain forecast for Tuesday night followed by Storm Ciarán arriving on Wednesday night. This storm will bring strong south easterly winds and heavy rain combined with big tides and a very low pressure.

If you haven’t checked your vessel recently, please do so before the storm. Please ensure that your boat is bailed and empty before and after the storm is due to hit. We have had a tremendous amount of rain in the last few weeks and, coupled with strong winds and big tides, there is a high chance of vessels succumbing to the weather and sinking on the berth. We have had two boats sink already this season!
