Another little loco kit build happened. One of the E. J. Sharp kits of a small 0-4-0ST. A bit of work was needed on the cylinders as it wasn’t that good and prevented smooth running.
The work on the cylinder block will be in another post.

Hope eveyone had a good Christmas. Whilst we are closed we have put together a few posts that are scheduled to post up over the next few days and weeks.

First up we have a new handbuilt crossover plan that we desgined in Templot. Its going to be built and then installed on a customers layout. Nice and flowing with curved D12s, just to make the build intresting.
Looking forward to seeing the locos making their way across this one its in place

Our Story

S H Modelmaking is a modelmaking company undertaking commission based modelmaking work for both private and corporate clients building models from kits to exhibiton standards.

Having had an intrest in models since an early age both building and exhibiting them an opportunity arose to start working in the industry over a decade ago. This then deveolped into the opportunity to start my own company creating models for clients and over the last 5 years to work with both U.K. and International retailers and manufacturers.
