Headlam ➡️ Darlington and surrounding areas.

Having a wedding and got a few Freinds that need taken back! This wedding in particular had around 30 guests going to various places. We got the full squad out 6 seater via Jonno’s Taxi and Dan in our 8 seater and me in the Superb.

If you would like local independent interconnected businesses we are for you. Some of the most reachable taxis in the northeast with a reputation built on Hard work , sacrifice and dedication !

People still are asking if we have a minibus hence this post. So please if you have a minute could you share this post and help little independents. We don’t belong to a big multimillion pound machine like The U or Takeme. We rely on your kindness to share and spread the word.

Thankyou to the ones that do

Don’t delay — pre-book your next journey today.

So yesterday morning after doing my 2nd drop off at Teesside Airport, I was sat at the lay-by minding my own business doing some paperwork & I gets a knock on my window..a gentleman spoke to me and said he had travelled from Middlesbrough to Darlington for work in an Uber....however his partner had inputted the destination slightly wrong & the Uber driver wasn't having any of it despite only being a few minutes away from actual destination and was only interested in his next fare.
Angry & frustrated after being dropped off at this said lay-by & not taking him 2 mins down the road he asked me if I was free to take him to his destination to which i did.. he was very grateful..right place right time for this poor bloke as it meant he wasn't too late for work 🙌🏻
What if this was a young person and wasn't familiar with the area let alone being abandoned in the middle of nowhere..
Be careful who you book with....just because uber seem better with them being cheap doesn't mean they are better...stick with your local independent taxi's we will always look after you!! If you need to change destination no problem YOU WILL NOT BE ABANDONED or moaned at etc..

*** just incase there's any keyboard warriors out there..Not all "uber drivers" are cut from the same cloth, there are those who do take their job seriously & look after their customers
