EMPLOYEES OF THE YEAR 2025/26

Over the past few weeks we’ve held our voting for the Unette employee of the year for 2025/26 and this year it was a dead heat between Supply Chain Manager Steve Lomas and machine setter Sam Cliff, so we couldn’t separate them, so we gave it them both

Including his role in the business Steve has also taken over social media duties for the business on all our platforms to increase followers and interaction with them

Sam has been an instrumental part of our production team, not only ensuring machines are kept running and changed over on his shift, but he stepped up to be cover for shift management for holidays and sickness, and during our BRC audit to give a fantastic insight of what he does and looks for, to ensure we continue to deliver quality products to our customers all day, every day

We held our year end staff briefing yesterday which gave us all a chance to get together to update the team on what’s currently going on in the world of Unette and what the plans are for the next 12 months. BRCGS AA CERTIFICATION RETAINED👏👏

After a very long couple of days we’re pleased to announce that we have retained our BRCGS AA certification.

It’s with pride we must say thank you to everyone who has helped us to get this fantastic result and who will continue to maintain such high standards on a daily basis, ones we demand of ourselves, for our customers. We never stand still and will continuously improve these standards, but this evening we take a breath and maybe a glass of wine/beer too, and celebrate this result

OUR 2026 CHOSEN CHARITY

Here at Unette this year after a vote from all our staff, we’ve decided that our charity of choice to raise money for is My CWA - Cheshire Without Abuse a charity helping children and adults impacted by domestic abuse in Cheshire

SPONSOR AFTERNOON AT THE RUGBY🏉

Some of our colleagues and families went along to our annual sponsorship of Crewe & Nantwich RUFC at their home game against Stourbridge last Saturday afternoon. We must’ve been a good omen as they saw an entertaining game which ended in a 71-22 win for the home team.

A big thanks to the rugby club for hosting us and congratulations on the big win👍

2025 DONE!!

Well that’s us done for 2025. It’s been challenging at times but in the end a very successful year for both sides of the company in terms of stability and growth, and we couldn’t have done this without the fantastic work of every single one of our superb, dedicated employees, the Unette family. We can’t thank you enough for your help in achieving what we have this year.

Go and enjoy your few weeks off with family and friends, wherever in the world you’ve chosen to be, you’ve all earned the rest. 2026 is going to be bigger and better than 2025❤️

Yesterday we held our Christmas jumper and bake sale at Unette in our latest fundraiser for Mid Cheshire Hospitals Charity We donated £10 for everyone who wore a Christmas jumper and had a donation box for the sweet treats sold, and we raised a fantastic total of £1032 on the day

A big thank you to everyone who dressed up, took the time and effort to bake the delicious treats and bought food at the sale 👏
