🎶 Last weekend, five members of the team had the privilege of joining the Band of the Royal Air Force College, alongside musicians from Musique de l'Air et de l'Espace, for a sold-out performance at the magnificent Lincoln Cathedral ⛪✨ celebrating the iconic music of John Williams. 🎬🎼

Made possible by the RAF Music Charitable Trust, it was an unforgettable evening for everyone involved — incredible music, a stunning venue, and a fantastic audience. 👏

Wishing the Royal Air Force Music team the best of luck for their Land’s End to John o’Groats cycling challenge. 🚴

A great show of support from our Reservists, with 2 cyclists, as well as 4 of our Band members providing support over the duration. 💪



Wishing the best of luck to five personnel from Royal Air Force Music who are taking on the mammoth challenge of cycling the length of the country from Land’s End to John o’Groats this week. The RAF Reserves Are Recruiting Musicians

The Band of the Royal Auxiliary Air Force is seeking skilled musicians to join its ranks. This unique role offers the chance to perform at prestigious events, support state ceremonial duties, and take part in major concert engagements across the UK.

What you’ll do:

•Perform at national events, concerts and royal engagements

•Play a wide range of musical styles

•Support RAF ceremonial and international engagements

•Parade at iconic locations, including Buckingham Palace

Locations:

This role is currently active at:

•RAF Cranwell, Lincolnshire
•RAF Northolt, Middlesex

Requirements:

•Grade 8 standard (or equivalent)

•Aged 18–54 (apply before 54 years and 6 months)

•Meet RAF nationality and residency criteria

•Commit to 27 days per year for a minimum of 12 years

On Sunday 1st February, The Honourable Artillery Company Band was delighted to perform alongside The Band of the Royal Auxiliary Air Force in a joint lunchtime concert at St Clement Danes Church, the Royal Air Force Church.

Set in this iconic RAF Church on the Strand, the programme featured varied concert repertoire. Enjoy highlights, including: Fascination Fanfare - Otto M. Schwarz, Westside Story - Leonard Bernstein arr. Naohiro Iwai, Into The Light - Jay Bocook and Anything Goes - Cole Porter, arr. Paul Jennings.
