Some eagle eyed followers may have noticed the massive bird in the Peterborough group photo. If you didn’t, take a look at this impressive Steppe eagle! 😱

Our driver Cosmin is the proud owner of Luna and brought her along on his day off to show her off to his colleagues.

Cosmin said “I chose to bring my eagle because it symbolises speed, agility, focus, and the intelligence to make good decisions in the most important moments. These qualities are essential both in nature and every day life, where performance and sound decision-making make all the difference. I am proud to be part of this team which is represented by this magnificent bird”

We couldn’t have said it better Cosmin. Thank you for bringing a little excitement to an already fantastic morning 🦅

What a fantastic day we’ve had at our work cake sale!
Thanks to everyone’s amazing baking skills and generosity, we raised an incredible £564! From delicious cakes to tasty treats, everything looked (and tasted!) absolutely brilliant.
A huge thank you to the team at CUTP for their help in organising the day and spreading the word, and to everyone who took the time to bake, donate, and support — it really made the day so successful. It was such a lovely atmosphere and a great sense of achievement to raise so much money towards our total.

What a day at the National Transition Event at Silverstone, from Mission Motorsport!

Earlier this week, Go Service Solutions attended one of the UK's leading events supporting ex-military personnel as they explore their next career move, and it didn't disappoint.

We had some really honest, open conversations with people who've built incredible experience in operations, supply chain, fleet management and people management during their time in the forces. For some, the big question was what comes first after leaving - being closer to home or more time with family. For others, building a commercial career was the clear goal.

Whatever stage people were at, it was great to sit down and talk through the options, whether that’s starting out as a driver, working more independently, or progressing into operational and leadership roles over time.

We also connected with other businesses exhibiting on the day, and logistics professionals who have already made the transition. The conversations kept coming back to the same point: The skills that come out of military service are genuinely exceptional. The technical knowledge, operational discipline and ability to lead people aren’t things you can easily teach, and more businesses should recognise that.

Being in the garage right next to the pit lane made for a pretty memorable setting, too. The queue for the track experience was non-stop all day, and watching the cars go out never got old.

If you’re leaving the forces and thinking about where logistics could take you, we’d love to have that conversation, so please DM us.

We all know that delivery drivers are some of the hardest-working people on Britain’s roads. Every day, thousands of self-employed delivery drivers deliver parcels to homes and businesses across the country.

If it’s something you are considering as a career, you may already have everything needed to do this job brilliantly, with skills you have learned from other jobs, and life experience that may make you a perfect fit.
