Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Freight Broker, based in central Coventry. The right candidate will be responsible for coordinating shipments and managing the transportation of goods for clients.

Daily tasks include negotiating with clients & carriers, tracking shipments, and ensuring timely delivery. Booking collection/delivery slots. Dealing with any issues that arise on movements. Processing paperwork, and a small amount of accounts work (this can be trained on site). The job may involve dealing with issues that arise out of hours. But these are usually sorted fairly quickly.

Hours - 0900-1700hrs Monday - Friday (May involve out of hours issues/enquiries to deal with).
Statutory annual holiday entitlement (Including Bank Holidays).
Starting pay 25k-35k (depending on experience). With a great chance to progress.
Company Pension.

Qualifications

Excellent communication and negotiation skills are essential
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Knowledge of transportation regulations and logistics
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and work well under pressure
