Coach travel plays a bigger part in everyday life than many people realise.

From school transport and swimming lessons to holidays, sporting events and days out, our industry plays a vital role in keeping communities connected.

At Marcus Lewis Coaches, we’re proud to provide over 2,000 pupil(s) journeys every school week across our school contracts and sports transport alone.

And that’s just one family-run coach operator in Coventry!

Across the UK, our industry supports education, tourism, local businesses and the wider economy, while helping to reduce congestion on our roads.

Here’s to the coach industry and everyone who keeps it moving!

🎉 17 YEARS OF MARCUS LEWIS COACHES! 🎉

Today marks 17 years since Marcus Lewis Coaches was established on 13th October 2009!

Our story goes back even further, with Marcus starting out alongside his father in the family transport industry, from Lewis Taxis to Lewis Coaches, before branching out and establishing his own company.

Since then, the business has come a long way. From the early vehicles you see in this video to the fleet operating today, Marcus Lewis Coaches has continued to grow, providing school transport, private hire, day trips and much more.

In 2023, Marcus’s son Jay joined the business, carrying on the family tradition and helping build towards the next chapter.

Of course, none of this would have been possible without the people behind the business.

A massive thank you to all our drivers, passenger assistants and staff, past and present, for their hard work and dedication over the years.

And to our customers, schools, organisations and supporters, whether you’ve travelled with us once or have been booking with us for years, thank you for choosing and supporting our family business.

Like any small business, there have been challenges along the way, but we’re proud of how far we’ve come and excited for what lies ahead.

Here’s a little look back at some of the vehicles, memories and journeys that have made us who we are today.

17 years. Countless journeys. One family business. ❤️

Here’s to many more!

Well… it’s looking slightly different these days. 😂

Our 37-seater has gone from its original orange into a fresh, modern white — and we think the transformation suits it rather well!

But we want to know… orange 🟠 or white ⚪️?
