So we’ve had a Refresh!

From today we are no longer Called The Midlands Bus Preservation, we’re simplifying everything.

32644 is currently still part of our Collection we are in talks at the moment with a buyer and a update will be posted on that once we know more information on what’s going on

We’ve gone from 4 to 2 buses now and to be quite honest it’s made things a lot easier to manage now

18071 is currently having a huge exterior Tidy up which everyone has seen recently and Simon has done an absolutely incredible job of her refresh!

16782 is to be having a new header tank fitted so we can finally get her through a MOT and back on the road again by the end of this year

We’ve decided the new name makes it easier now for followers as before the old name really made sense when we had 3+ vehicles!

The last couple of weeks saw me tackling the back end of 18071, the faded red has been filled, sanded and given a fresh coat of Millenium red. New rear numberplate and Devon style fleet numbers on the sides at the back, not perfect but it looks so much better!

Productive last few days, refreshed the off white on nearside lower panels , more sanding of the back end, refixed part of lower strip on off side and painted panel. Back blind has edges now painted as tape was knackered , also widened the black area on the replacement side destination glass as the current one shows too much off the destination equipment

18071 gets a refresh! started replacing the orange seat grab handles with ones that match the poles, downstairs seat frames painted, along with cab and doors inside. Started rubbing down the red at the back for a fresh lick of paint
