Been a good while since an update on here but we have been busy!
Despite all the shouts of heatwaves and summer, there's been alot of wind around leading to alot of cancelled trips.
Sunny hot weather at home doesn't equate to a calm sea here unfortunately.
Here's some pictures of whats been happening.
Currently I'm fully booked until into September with no weekends until late October. However we do get cancellations so it's worth giving me a shout.
Appologies if I have missed messages,calls emails etc. When I'm not angling I'm often working with another local skipper commercially. They can be long unsocial hours with lack of phone signal. If I don't get home until 9-11pm and I'm up 4-6am the next day it's likely I haven't rang you back for obvious reasons. So thanks for having patience with me👍Plus phones don't last long in guy cotton's on deck so it's not available for me to answer for most of the day!
Fishing wise the mackerel have been hit and miss.
Some cracking size ones the last few trips.
Gurnards,whiting,dabs, dogs, Huss, rays, Pollack,a few more codling showing here and there than the last few years which is a big positive. Bass not as prolific as the last few years but there's still some to be had with some effort. A few black bream but not as many as I would of hoped for.
