With the ongoing situation in the Middle East we know many members are looking for clarity around their legal responsibilities, particularly when it comes to customer communications, cancellations, and itinerary changes.


We have legal guidance notes on members’ responsibilities if the FCDO changes its advice to “all but essential travel” to the whole of a country or island and also resort or area.

We also feature frequently asked questions around your legal responsibilities and where to find additional information. This includes what the obligations on package organisers are in respect of clients waiting to return home.

Selected Elite member agencies will now offer visiting BDMs:
• A desk or workspace
• Wi‑Fi
• Tea & coffee
• A chance to catch their breath between calls

It’s a small gesture that can make a big difference—and it helps build stronger relationships between agents and operators.
A growing list of ‘bolt‑holes’ includes Coleshill, Birmingham city centre, Stourbridge, Sutton Coldfield, Sheffield, Shrewsbury, Potters Bar, Ashby de la Zouche and Maidenhead.
