What an awesome gala that was! So many American locomotives, incredible food by our amazing cafe manager, a yummy speciality ice cream made just for the weekend, line dancing fun, plenty of bunting and flags, a tonne of memories and lots of people dressed up!

A massive, massive thank you to all of our staff and volunteers who make these events happen. We are so lucky to have you and one of the reasons we love gala weekend so much is because we get to spend time with you all enjoying the railway. We really couldn't do it without you 🥰

The Fifteen Inch Frontier Weekend begins at Perrygrove — open from 10am both days. Five visiting locomotives. A 1904 Cagney making its first public steamings in over 15 years. Classic cars. Finally are thrilled to announce the last visitor for our American Gala tomorrow! It's yellow, it's brand new and it's the last ever locomotive to be built by Alan Keef LTD. We're honoured and extremely lucky to have it here. It's moving to America in a few weeks so this is your only chance to see it in the UK!

It'll only be on display, but it's definitely worth seeing.
