Another beautiful morning in the Scottish Borders.
We have two drop offs today.
Our first bike has been dropped off just outside of Kelso for some riverside riding.
Our second drop is at the SCHLOSS Roxburghe hotel. 3 e-bikes out for 2 days.
We have some availability this week, pop us a message for further details

Post-hire checks 😎
Bike 5 was out and about yesterday and this morning and getting ready to head back out at the weekend 🚴
We have a few hires to fulfill this weekend so busy few days checking them over and getting ready for drop offs. 🚲

Quick note to say that although the registered address for the business is Laughing Ducks Soft Play we do not keep the bikes there. We are not able to do on the spot hires due to logistical reasons and require at least 24 hour notice.
Occasionally we might be able to accommodate on the day hires but please give us a call to check if this is achievable. 😊

We have been a bit quiet past few weeks. 🙈

We have been busy working on fine details such as banking, insurance etc- all the important stuff 😎
We are almost there and are now happy to take bookings 🙂
Our website has had a freshen up ( Jon is still tweaking it, so it might look slightly different in coming weeks), and our flyers and posters are almost ready ( approved design this afternoon 👌)

📣BREAKING NEWS FROM THE SSDA CONFERENCE

🚴‍♂️The brand new 250-mile coast to coast cycle route across the south of Scotland will be named after Kirkpatrick Macmillan, the 19th century Dumfriesshire blacksmith who invented the first pedal-driven velocipede, it has just been announced at the SSDA sell-out conference at Peebles Hydro.

➡️Officially called 'The Kirkpatrick C2C, South of Scotland’s Coast to Coast' the route will span the South of Scotland from Stranraer in the west with Eyemouth on the east.

👐Projections suggest the new route, which will launch formally this summer, could attract up to 175,000 new visitors to the region, with a direct spend of £13.7M per year.

Aleks has been familiarising himself with the fleet today!
He particularly enjoys this Bergamont one. It is surprisingly lightweight and easy to ride and can do up to 75miles on 1 battery charge! ( depending on how much you use the Sport/ Turbo mode 😎)
The turbo mode is his favourite of course, so it is just as well it was just a short run up to Hirsel Estate this morning 🙈😁
