Lawsons Haulage Ltd are looking to recruit an experienced and professional Crane Supervisor / Appointed Person (AP) to join our growing operations team. This is an exciting opportunity to work within a highly respected heavy haulage and crane operation, supporting complex lifting activities, contract lifts, abnormal load movements and specialist projects across multiple sectors.

✅The role will include:
* Planning and supervising lifting operations
* Preparing lift plans, RAMS and operational documentation
* Ensuring compliance with LOLER & BS7121 standards
* Conducting site visits and operational assessments
* Coordinating crane operators, slinger/ signallers and lifting teams
* Managing operational safety and lifting compliance
* Supporting contract lifts and specialist lifting activities
* Managing high professional and safety standards at all times

✅The ideal candidates will have:
* CPCS appointed person qualification
* Experience within crane, lifting or heavy haulage operations
* Strong understanding of LOLER and BS7121
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
* Professional and safety focused approach
* Ability to work under pressure and manage operational challenges

Additional qualifications such as Crane Supervisor. slinger/signaller, IOSH, NEBOSH, PTS, SMSTS, or abnormal load experience would be advantageous.
