Not heard anything from CRGS or RCHS as of yet

All school buses have set off they are running late due to the adverse weather we will only be travelling on main roads no lanes today.

So unfortunately pease tell your children to wrap up warm put there BIG coats on scarfs and gloves and wait.

News Flash
The Bridge at Brungley leading into Waddington has been closed with no earning or notice.
School services effected are 901 444 and 628
Please tell your children to wait ✋️ The coaches will be late as we will have to go long way round and do some Turning around the children will be late to school.
Anyone that. Gets on at the bus stop lower down from the social club in Waddington needs to walk up to the higher buck and meet the bus at the bus stop over the bridge

We Require School Run Drivers to start From Easter 🐣

We require Weekend & Part Time Coach Drivers to cover busy periods and Weekend work.

All candidates must hold a Full PCV license and have at least 2 years coaching Experience have a good knowledge of the road networks and points of interest. Most importantly have a outgoing character full of charm and wit!

Gisburn Primary School is closed due to a burst water pipe in the area.

As Yesterday all our Buses will be setting off but only using the main Gritted roads assessing as they go the safety of our Drivers and passengers are our no 1 priority.

ICE Disruptions

The 641 & 642 service will only be running on the main gritted roads this morning due to severity of ice on the back roads this applies to all our services drivers will be risk assessing the situations as they proceed.

Thanks for your understanding in this matter the safety of our passengers and drivers are our main priority.

All our Buses have set off this morning but the Road conditions are dicy in places on our Country Lanes.

Unfortunately we have tried our best but we have not been able to complete the full routes on some services 628 & 630 due to the ice on the roads.

The safety of the children and our drivers is most important & we cannot take unnecessary risks in these conditions.

Hopefully all back to normal for Monday 🤞🏽

Parents Snow is falling !!!

1. Please remember that there may be occasions when it is not possible to operate the morning school transport journey, or the journey may operate late. You must ensure that your child can be safely looked after if there are problems. Please remember that you are responsible for their safety until they have got on the school bus or taxi. If the morning school transport journey does not operate and you decide to take your own children then you must also be prepared to collect them at the end of the school day.
2. There may be circumstances when the Head teacher decides it is necessary for children to be sent home from school early. In the case of primary school children it is essential that the school is able to contact you or a nominated responsible person at short notice. Please make sure that the school has up‐to‐date contact information. In the case of secondary school children please make sure that they can be looked after safely and that they are aware of
what the arrangements are.
3. There may be rare circumstances where the transport is not able to operate the afternoon journey, in which case you will be contacted by the school.
4. If you are aware that there is snowfall in your area as it can vary (mile to mile as you all know) and it would be dangerous for the school bus to get to you please contact Hodsons Coaches Clitheroe Ltd on 01200 429220 or via messenger on here thanks.

Morning all !!! All school services will depart this morning, please be patient we will get to you as quickly and safely as possible . Be at your stop on time and wrapped up and wait for the bus to arrive it may be delayed due the road conditions.

The safety of passengers, staff, and other road users comes first . If it is deemed unfit to travel the service will be terminated but we will keep you updated ⛄️
