Bit overcast while cooking, but didn't rain until after we were done. We brought the chairs and rugs in, then it stopped...

Bit overcast while cooking, but didn't rain until after we were done. We brought the chairs and rugs in, then it stopped and the forecast says no more rain today.

Airfryer used for bacon and sausage, so all is done at once I.e. only a problem if one member of the household is veggie and other isn't otherwise can all go on griddle together.

Sun is sparkling through the trees and I thought I would share some early morning views of our pitch.

The first is a photo through the window above the cab

Loving how everyone finds their own camping happy place. The pitch on one side of us there is a caravan and the other a tent box / roof tent. The roof tent people are sat in the sun, have cooking on the go and are sipping a brew, looks like they are having a fabulous time.

Sun is higher and brighter now than in these early morning photos.

Well, we are past St Patrick 's day so that means Easter decorations can go up . . . according to our house rules.

Realised the bunnies don't fit in the windscreen when we close the inner blind, moved them yo the floor but they looked so happy in the windscreen! 'crisis' number 2 is that we haven't brought the mini eggs for the glass bunny jars . . . . but that may be accidentally on purpose because you can't eat them yet!

Plan was cook outside, so getting delayed by 30 minutes trying get out of the village we live in (seems everyone wanted to get home for the sun ish) was not going to mess up our plans. . .. we've cooked in the dark before, have head torches, no problem! And . . . our pitch backs onto a stream so cooking was to a fabulous soundtrack.

On EHU so all cooking done on electric - brocoli and cauliflower in microwave in veg steamer, sauce in Audecook, chips in air fryer, steak and tofu on vango scran griddle.
