♿️ ACCESSING THE DRIVER’S SEAT – INDEPENDENCE BY DESIGN 🚐

Following on from our previous video showing the remote-operated doors and wheelchair lift, here’s another look at this incredible bespoke motorhome built here at Bretherton Coachworks.

🎥 In this video, you can see how the driver’s seat has been designed to allow the wheelchair user to transfer into the driving position.

The layout has been carefully designed around the customer, making it possible to access the driver’s seat independently and get behind the wheel with ease.

It’s these individual details that make a bespoke build so important — creating a vehicle that works for the person using it, rather than expecting them to adapt to the vehicle.

Following on from our previous post, here’s a closer look at the doors and wheelchair lift on this fully accessible motorhome, built here at Bretherton Coachworks.

🚪 REMOTE-OPERATED DOORS
The doors can be opened remotely, making it easy for the wheelchair user to prepare for entry without assistance.

⬆️⬇️ REMOTE-OPERATED WHEELCHAIR LIFT
The lift is also controlled by remote, smoothly lowering to ground level and raising the customer safely into the motorhome.

The whole system has been designed to give the customer maximum independence, allowing them to get in and out of the vehicle without relying on somebody else.
