Applications are now open for the Rob Wildeboer Flying Scholarship Calendar 2027.

Have you captured an image of aircraft at Goodwood Aerodrome? We’re looking for your best photography to feature in our 2027 calendar.

To enter the competition, send us your submission at [email protected] by the end of September.

Images must be 150mm x 100mm landscape and a minimum resolution of 300dpi.

Today, we honour the courage of all those who fought on D-Day and remember the sacrifices made by so many.

Goodwood Aerodrome, formerly RAF Westhampnett, was part of the network of airfields that supported Allied operations during the Second World War. Today, it remains one of the last operational grass airfields of its kind in the UK, commemorating the pilots and crew who served from these historic runways.

Join us at Goodwood Aerodrome for a Flying School Social evening on Saturday 6 June. Starting at 18:00, the evening features a BBQ and raffle in support of the Rob Wildeboer Scholarship.

Tickets are £20 per person and can be purchased in person from the Aerodrome Front Desk. Your ticket includes a delicious BBQ, a soft drink and one £5 raffle ticket.

Additional raffle tickets can be purchased for £5 in advance or on the night. Exclusive £10 raffle tickets are also available, offering the chance to win premium prizes such as a Goodwood Revival Racing Experience, Afternoon Tea at Fernleigh and a Flyer Watch.

Keep an eye on our story daily to view all the raffle prizes on offer.

In addition to offering a raffle prize, The Flyer Watch Company will be attending on the evening, offering a 10% discount on all watches purchased on the night. They will then be donating 10% from each sale to the Rob Wildeboer Scholarship.
