Exactly 1 year after scrapping my last N gauge roundy roundy layout to concentrate more time on getting Ashfield TMD up and running, The N gauge is back! A slightly smaller 10x2ft roundy layout now,
Here’s some of the first trains testing the 2 recently laid loops. Lots of work to go but nice to be able to run some full length trains again….

Some track weathering done this afternoon, with the good old sleeper grime and roof dirt being used. Makes a big difference from the clean ballast in the last update.

Forthcoming Farish Class20 in the Bachmann display cabinet at DEMU show yesterday. Lovely models, and a couple of these for West Brinsley will have to be purchased.

A trip to DEMU yesterday and another Cavalex Models 56 joins the fleet. Renumbered by Rainbow Railways as 56123 Drax Power Station, 16 of em in the fleet now 👍
