Great to see one of my restored engines being put to good use. This '87 Evinrude 2.5hp twin (yes you heard me right 2.5hp twin),was sold to a customer as an auxiliary, he sent me this video showing it in action.

Sometimes an engine comes in looking like a complete gonner when all it needs is a little bit of love. Check out the story of this poor 5hp 4-stoke non-runner. Condemned by the marina, and basically a pile of bits, but this story has a happy ending.

Love this Yamaha 20 HP twin carbed 2 stroke. With about 15 hours on it its the cleanest engine I have seen for some time, and it runs like a dream. The customer has informed me that it is surplus to requirement so after having had a full service its also up for sale. If you are interested please get in touch.

You remember the Honda who was having an identity crisis. He was convinced he was a Volvo Penta. Well he still dresses like a Volvo, but at least now he runs like out champ. Check out the video to see how we got on together.

You remember this poorly, Evinrude. She wasn't to keen on running on water / fuel mix. She is back doesn't cut our when you turn up the revs and she sounds lovely. Take a look at the video to see the finished result.

This Yamaha 20hp, has not run for years. Full check over and service coming soon. Have run it in the tank to check a few things over before going stuck into it.

This Evinrude 3.5 came in today, as a poor runner. In this first video I am running and doing my initial inspection, in the second I am doing the fault diagnoses. Will follow later with the final result.

Just completed the work on this nice little 2HP 2-Stroke Suzuki shown in a previous post. In this video I am showing why the engine was over heating by explaining how the cooling system works. I hope you find it useful / interesting.

Four stroke Suzuki 5. In this video just explaining that in a relatively short space of time debris in the fuel system can lead to poor running. Regular scheduled maintenance is the key. With a small amount of effort this Suzuki is back sounding like it did when it left the factory. If you have any concerns about your engine not running well happy to help, just give us ring or send a message.

Nice little Suzuki DT2 from 1989. The Customer noticed it was getting hot. Stripped it and found the cooling system blocked.
Have a flick through some of the pics you can see how the salt and limescale have built up in the cooling system after salt water use. With a strip and clean out its running at the right temperature with some new gaskets it's going back to work as an engine for a tender to a yacht. With a small engine like this its quite easy to flush in a bucket of water after use and well worth the 5 minutes of effort.
