A bit of exciting news.... We've been nominated for the 'Removal company of the year' for the East Midlands! Overwhelmed is an understatement.
It's been a wild ride the last 7 years. We started with a Peugeot Boxer, purchased within a pandemic as a bit of an emergency for extra money whilst I was off work as a contractor working on the rail with no sick pay, no holidays and no days of work unfortunately making it a very difficult period for us as a family. Beans on toast on the menu most evenings as we just welcomed our 2nd child - Azora.
The business has now grown into a fleet of vans with a premises, being a reliable and professional provider of removal and house clearance services for my beloved area of Chesterfield, boasting an incredible 129 5* reviews as well as a 100% recommendation record on Facebook.
We come into the nominees as a massive underdog. Probably the 100/1 shout on the grand national, but with a bit of hope and faith in the community that has served us so well in return we can take the title and I truly believe we can.

Our Workhorses ready to move you! 🥰🐎

The Vans are maintained, well oiled, all fitted with new tyres and are ready for a crazy end to June! It's shaping up to be a record-breaking month, which is a true reflection of the incredible hard work our staff put in every single day.
Maintaining the level of consistency they deliver for our customers isn't easy. Every move is carefully tailored to each customer's individual needs, and throughout it all, the team remains calm, friendly and reassuring to all of our valued clients.
This is the ethos of our workforce, and these are the standards we've stood by since day one.

Started with a sack barrow... Ended up with a dolly from Tesco express en route after some mechanical issues with the sack barrow. The final amount was over £1200 for Dementia UK. This is the last of the washing machine spam now and we will be giving you more moving related content moving forward 🙈. Apologies we have been a little quiet on here but we have been inundated with enquiries and getting you folks moved safely and efficiently. We've been blessed with some incredible reviews as of late and for that we are extremely thankful.

Well....
The support from everyone was absolutely mind blowing. Feeling very blessed and grateful to be surrounded by such humans. Family, friends and strangers!
Today the mission was to raise money for Dementia UK and drag a washing machine around a 10k course in Chesterfield. That mission was accomplished ✅.
I'd just like to say a massive thank you to all of you that have donated and gave me the push to do this, it means everything and more!
We have nearly reached our target of £1000 and I'm absolutely delighted with that!

A big thanks to my wife who remains patient with me during not only these sorts of endeavours but within life and business itself. I owe you the world 🌍.

A thank you goes out to North Derbyshire Running Club who gave me a love for the running game. For this I'll be eternally grateful. The work that the club does within the local community is nothing short of exceptional.

A thank you to Redbrik Estate Agents for hosting everyone involved, creating memories to last a lifetime whilst raising money for their charity (the Redbrik foundation).

It's now time for me to go get my head down. Get some rest and be ready for more lifting and shifting, starting tomorrow morning 😅.

Turning & Burning! 🔥

Making them van's sweat again this week. 😅🚚

Our 2nd castle visit of the year so far as we visited Raby castle at Darlington 🏰 Delivering a flower arrangement for our friends Swallowsanddamsons.Com.

Followed by a storage move to 'Ull 📦

A collaboration with a removal company in Lincoln, thanks to Sav and the boys for that one! 👊🏻

A garage clearance in Matlock Bath was carried out, although a 80 degree incline for 100 yards was pretty thirsty work 😅🤣

Tomorrow we visit Elgin in Scotland. Wish us luck for the 8 hour journey tomorrow 😅💪🏻🚚
