Week Three 🍰🎄
I picked up week 3s bakes just before we headed off to Leicester for our family Secret Santa and Christmas celebrations and honestly, what perfect timing 🥰
With so many treats already enjoyed over the last couple of weeks, we decided this was the perfect chance to share the love and get the grandparents involved in the taste-testing too!
This week’s bakes included:
✨ Festive bread with brie, cranberry & rosemary
✨ Mocha loaf
✨ Cherry pie
✨ Apple & cinnamon pie
The festive bread was such a hit especially with the grandparents. The combination of the creamy brie, sweet cranberry and subtle rosemary was just gorgeous and felt so Christmassy. Perfect served as part of a picky lunch or alongside festive drinks 🎄🧀
The mocha loaf went down a storm with the coffee lovers in the family. I tapped out of this one (don’t have coffee) but the rest of the family enjoyed and what I got back was it was rich, comforting and not too sweet, it was absolutely delicious served with a bit of cream. A real winner for anyone who loves that coffee chocolate combo ☕🍫
The cherry pie and apple & cinnamon pie were ideal for sharing, which was exactly what we needed with so many bakes to get through this week. Both were full of flavour, beautifully baked, and great for slicing up and letting everyone have a taste. It was actually really nice to slow down, enjoy them over a couple of days, and get the whole family involved in helping us “test” them 😂
Another gorgeous week of bakes from festive, comforting, and perfect for sharing with family 🤍
Picking up more tomorrow after the back to gym/ diet.
Treats are defo welcomed for Friday
