Join our Community Rail Officer at Clacton Station for a fantastic and FREE seaside walk to Holland‑on‑Sea and back.

We’ll meet in the ticket office at 11am, stroll through Clacton to the Pier, then follow the promenade north toward Holland. Enjoy a free tea or coffee on the way (just show your rail ticket).

Pack a lunch for a picnic on the beach before we return — either on foot or by hopping on the road train (optional, at your own cost).

Wear comfy footwear, dress for the weather, bring a reusable bottle, and don’t forget your camera or sketchbook to capture the views!

Our recent ESSCRP Coffee Morning at Braintree Museum was a wonderful opportunity to bring station adopters together for a relaxed and friendly start to the day. Visitors enjoyed a warm drink, a chat, and the chance to learn more about the community rail projects taking place across the area.

Thank you to everyone who joined us — your support and enthusiasm make events like this so valuable. We look forward to hosting more gatherings at Braintree and across the network in the near future.
