ANNOUNCEMENT! As many of you may have noticed I’ve been a little quiet online of late , this is due to both moving house this weekend AND moving beluga HQ . After 4 years in my current workshop it’s time to admit that I’ve outgrown it and in order to continue building awesome vans for my clients and take beluga van conversions to the next level I need more space …LOTS more space ! So I’ve bitten the bullet and committed to taking the leap onwards and upwards . It’s going to take some time to set up my new workshop as well as my new home so I will be unable to take on any works for the next couple of months until everything is in place and I’m ready to rock again ! But never fear , I will be back soon with a brand new look , new branding and brand new vision ( sneak peek in the photo ) although I’m unable to take on any works currently please do keep sending your enquiries through, either through Instagram or Facebook And I’ll get back to you when I am able, thank you all for following the beluga van conversion journey and I look forward to sharing the next chapter with you all over the next few months . Nice little project finished for the lovely Karyn . This little VW caddy came in for something a little more permanent to replace the kids bed frame that had been used for a while . First up was to level and reinforce the floor where the disability ramp once lived , then set to work building a a fixed sofa that converts to a small double , added a small flip down table to the end so they can make a nice brew when parked at the beach, stained with contrasting ‘dove’ and ‘gunmetal’ eco friendly wood stain from village green and all finished with beautiful upholstery done by the eternally fabulous varnie ❤️ another happy customer 😊💪

Port hole windows anyone ? How cute are they ? ! Fitted these awesome little porthole windows to my friends dog walking -come-campervan . Slowly but surely over the last 3-4 years I’ve been creating a modular micro camper for the lovely Helen , as a full time dog walker the van is full of crates and wet dogs during the week , and come the weekend the crates come out and the ‘campervan ‘ slots in, one day I shall get some photos /videos of the ‘transformer ‘ van …one day is not today sadly , so for now revel in these awesome little windows 😊❤️

The first of MANY updates from beluga HQ is this fun little project from last summer , this beautiful old T25 was in need of some modernisation . The older gentleman owner has had many many adventures in this beautiful old van but the old rear facing rock n roll beds are now just to lumbersome for him to operate so was needing something more practical and easier to use . Removing the old seats was straightforward enough but what lay beneath can only be described as total carnage ! The original heating system lay in multiple parts after being decommissioned years ago and the electrical system made my teeth itch ! After removing the remains of the heater and making safe the electrical system ready for a rewire at a later date it was on with building a new fixed bed with side extension for his four legged companion . finished off with brand new cushions, all beautifully upholstered by my lovely upholsterer Varni . A great fun little project that will hopefully ensure the adventures continue for many more years to come 😊

When your friend points out you’ve been majorly slacking with your socials and you need to remove your finger from the proverbial and get up to date ! …so much has happened at beluga HQ over the last year or so and I’m excited to start sharing all my projects with you , including TWO completed builds that have never been seen before …so bare with me whilst I sort through over 10,000 photos ( not an exaggeration 🤣) , watch this space !

After embarking on my first build during that little blip in the matrix we called lock down, we came out the other side and 3 YEARS ago today Beluga Van Conversions was born !
And what a journey it has been! My life is now unrecognisable from the day I downed tools for the last time on the building site on that fateful day in March 2020.
The last three years have a been a whirlwind of crazy and whilst my previous life is a distant memory I still can’t quite believe it’s been three years already ! To say it’s flown by would be an understatement and half ! Massive thank you to those who’ve supported and encouraged me over the years , to those who’ve inspired me , and to those who’ve put there dreams in my hands and entrusted me to be a part of there vanlife journey! It’s been an honour and a privilege to be able to make your dreams a reality, and I’m honoured to now be able to call so many of my clients friends 😊❤️
This year has without question been the toughest one yet for a multitude of reasons which I won’t bore you with , and I’ll be honest I’m looking forward to it being over and starting afresh in 2025 as soo much to look forward too !
The diary is already filling up fast for next year with work, festivals , road trips, moving house and the urge to build myself and Rodney a new van ! But as it stands there is still space to get at least one , possibly two more beluga vans on the road in time for summer .::so if you’d like to join the club and commission your very own beluga van ..now is the time to do it 😊
