What does it take to get a Bishy Boat ready for people to enjoy?
Easy right? Just buy some boats from Windermere, launch and go??
Errr no, these boats had many years of service up on Windermere and when we acquired them they were certainly in need of a little help and a lot of modifications.
It's been 10 years đŸ˜¯, yes 10 years since the Windermere convoys, and tucked away in a dusty corner we still had a couple of those boats that were yet to get the Bishy treatment. The hire season is drawing in for 2026 and we thought why not have a go at a Bishy transformation (madness), the dust is back!
Can we still remember how to do this?
