We are currently recruiting Drivers and Helpers to join our growing home delivery operation based from our depots in Larne and Newtownabbey.

The Role

Working as part of a two-person delivery crew, you will be responsible for delivering large household goods directly to customers’ homes. Deliveries are made to the customer’s room of choice, providing a professional and friendly service at all times.

Requirements

* Drivers must be aged 25 or over insurance purposes
* Full UK driving licence required for driver positions
* Must have less than six penalty points
* Must be able to pass an AccessNI check
* Previous home delivery experience preferred but not essential
* Good customer service and communication skills
* Physically fit and capable of handling heavy and bulky items
* Reliable, punctual, and professional
* Positive attitude and strong work ethic

H2Couriers are looking for reliable and experienced drivers or 2-person delivery crews on a self-employed basis to join our existing 2 man delivery team. We are looking primarily for 2 person crews, however we are open to accepting applications from individual drivers or drivers mates. If applying individually we will pair you up with someone else to form a 2 man crew whom you will work alongside with consistently.

We are looking for either drivers or full time crews Mon - Fri but some Sat work may also be available.

* Company rental van and fuel card provided

Duties
- Safely drive company van to deliver white goods, furniture and parcels to customers room of choice.
- Load and unload goods safely and carefully from the delivery vehicle using company issued equipment to assist, some appliance installation and furniture assembly may be required - full training provided
- Ensure accurate and prompt delivery of orders following a pre planned route, average of 24 drops per day
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding delivery schedules
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance checks

Requirements
- Previous experience as a 2 man delivery driver
- Valid UK manual clean driving licence preferred
- ( no more than 6 penalty points)

- A driving licence to have been held for a minimum of 3 years.
- Ability to drive 3.5 tonne Luton or Low Loader vans and handle some heavy lifting
- Excellent communication and customer service skills required

Day shift
Monday to Friday weekend availability

Due to expansion and to meet increasing business demands we require Experienced multi-drop couriers to deliver for our long term partnership with Parcel Force.

Depot is in Duncrue and we currently work Monday to Friday 7.30 to 5.30 with additional work available on Saturdays.

Self employed and paid a daily rate.

Long term permanent work.

Van home at night.

Due to insurance purposes we can only accept over 25’s with less than six penalty points.

Must be able to pass an Access NI check.
