It's always good to learn about travel destinations and we did just that today with North America Travel Service. It was great to hear all about the US States of Washington DC, Maryland and Virginia from the experts. And all while enjoying a delicious afternoon tea 😋. Lovely afternoon spent with travel industry colleagues, so good to get back in the room after 2 years of zoom training 😀 ✈️

Today is my first day back from holiday and I've had a lovely afternoon in Coventry at the Ladiesfirst Professional Development Business Awards meeting being interviewed as a Finalist in the Service Provider of the Year category. I am so proud to have been nominated and chosen by my networking colleagues as a Finalist from so many talented people working in a wide variety of industries. Looking forward to the Awards Ceremony in March x

So lovely to meet up for lunch with this amazing group of professional, talented ladies. So enjoyed the Travel Counsellors Supplier Take-over Day today when alongside my local Travel Counsellors I got to meet a number of our valued suppliers. Do Something Different, Celebrity Cruises, Riviera Travel, Universal Orlando/ Hollywood, Virgin Voyages, Royal Caribbean Cruises, Flexible Autos and Southern World our Australia and New Zealand destination management company are only a few of our preferred suppliers who all took the time to tell us about their amazing products and what's coming up next year and beyond. After the challenges of the last couple of years when events like this just couldn't take place I'm so happy we are now able to rebuild our relationships with our supplier colleagues who are vital links between us our customers and the products and services we sell. A great day all round😍.

I just wanted to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

It has been a tough couple of years for many of us both personally and in our work lives and my heart goes out to those of you who have been affected. My business has survived thanks to the support of my loyal customers and I am so grateful for your continued support and patience and for the referrals you are giving me, thank you.

I think we have a long way to go before the wonderful world of travel returns to the easy, carefree joy of booking a holiday that we knew 2 years ago. But I do think we are on the right road and with the help of a trusted travel advisor such as myself to guide you through the minefield of country entry protocols and testing requirements, overseas holidays are very much on the horizon. We still need to take great care in our social activities and be very aware of travel advice but I am optimistic that the opportunity for carefree travel will return very soon.

Like many others I am taking a break over the festive season but I am very much looking forward being back at my desk in the new year and helping my customers, old and new, to plan their long awaited dream holidays.

Please take care, stay safe and enjoy the festive season and once again I wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. See you in 2022 xx
