Yesterday was the perfect Mothers Day 🫶 we did absolutely nothing but chill ! I was treated to the rest of the Windy City Series plus the new spin off book which I can’t wait to read ! We had a wander in town and I spent the afternoon wrapped up in a blanket with my book whilst I had a roasty cooked for me 🫶 no vanventures this weekend but sometimes a weekend at home is just as needed and precious ❤️📚🧑‍🧑‍🧒‍🧒

📍 Dartmouth, South Devon - perfect stop for a weekend away ! Lots of little shops to wander around, a gorgeous harbour, abundance of coffee shops and restaurants and a ferry that takes you over to neighbouring Brixham and Paignton ! Head further down the coast to Salcombe or inland to quaint villages such as Dittisham or the town of Totnes

It was so lovely to see some colour and the signs of spring this weekend ! The weather was gorgeous and we discovered the beautiful Dartmouth Castle ! We didn’t go in we just had a lovely early morning walk around the grounds after sunrise ! A gorgeous part of the coast and a new place added to our places we’ve visited !

After watching back to back episodes of yesterday, I want to relive the whole trip again ! But this time by road … a lil throwback to crayfishing in the Norwegian Fjords ! Followed by a Norwegian supper where we had them shoreside for dinner 🇳🇴 one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever visited
