Driver & Porters - Weybridge area

Join Our Team at Luxfords of Weybridge!

We're pleased to announce openings for a Driver & Porters (LGV & non LGV ) in the Weybridge area. If you're passionate about providing excellent customer service and ready for a physically engaging role, we want to hear from you!

Salary & Benefits:

Annual earnings for drivers range from £35,000 to £40,000, with the potential to achieve up to £50k OTE.
Porters and drivers enjoy competitive hourly rates, reflective of experience and qualifications.
Full uniform and training provided, with opportunities for career progression from Non LGV to LGV.
Employment includes satisfactory DBS clearance.

Key Responsibilities:

Engage courteously with customers, ensuring service expectations and timetables are met.
Handle tasks that include packing, wrapping, loading, and unloading customer goods.
Work involves local routes with some overnight stays within the UK and potential weekend work.

We're Looking For:

Individuals with a clean UK driving licence.
Previous removals experience is ideal, but not essential.
Excellent command of spoken and written English.
High fitness level and eligibility to work in the UK.

Working Hours:

Full-time: 5 days per week, 40 hours + overtime at time and half.
Flexible part-time hours also considered.

Over the last few days we have seen a growing number of efforts from the local community to assist in anyway possible with the dreadful goings on in the Ukraine.
This past week we have received a number of calls with regards to boxes, tape and packaging materials to assist in packing up items being donated to the Ukraine humanitarian efforts.
We here at Luxfords have assisted with these requests and would be happy to donate a further quantity of packing materials, should anyone already be in the process or planning on making similar collections to be sent out.
If anyone would like to talk further regarding this, please feel free to direct message myself on here or via our page or email direct on [email protected] As I am sure everyone else is hoping, this horrendous situation ends soon, but until then we are happy to assist where possible.

We have drivers, vans and warehouse space available throughout the UK to help our overstretched emergency services at this extremely challenging time.

Wow! What a fantastic evening. Luxfords St George's Premier Squash team won the National final beating Tradition @ RAC by 3 games to 2 with an exhilarating last match between the World No 1 Mohamed ElShorbagy playing for Luxfords and Daryl Selby, World No. 19. A bitter-sweet moment as Daryl was a long time member of the St George's team!
