Meet Mike from Andrews Of Tideswell, who created this painting of the The Flying Childers Inn while our guests enjoyed their pub stop.

We love this little glimpse behind the scenes of Pub Tours. There are brilliant people involved in making our days out happen- and sometimes they surprise us with talents like this!

But there’s more to a tour than the six pubs we visit.

We work with local transport partners like Andrews of Tideswell to help guests explore the Peak District together, travelling between Peak District Pubs without everyone needing to drive themselves.

It’s how we bring together great rural pubs, local businesses and a different way to discover the countryside.

It’s a pleasure to serve Matlock Illuminations on there firework nights, making parking & transport a lot easier at Cromford Meadows! ✨🎆

If you’ve used us this weekend or are planning to use us please let us know your feedback ⬇️

📣 If you used our park & ride service from Cromford Meadows for the first of the 2026 season fireworks nights last Saturday, we'd love to hear what you thought.

Around a quarter of our visitors that night took advantage of the hassle-free service - and we've already had some great comments.

A reminder that the park & ride service operates from around 4pm to 10pm on our firework nights only (every October Saturday and the final Sunday, 1st November). The site is Cromford Meadows, Cromford (Sat Nav - DE4 3RQ / 53.110300,-1.553536) - and buses, which are fully accessible and run every 15/20 minutes, drop off near the Illuminations entrance, so are great for visitors with mobility issues.

The prices are the same as they were in 2025: £2.00 (return) per adult, £1.00 for children and under 5s are free. Well behaved dogs are welcome. There is no parking charge at Cromford Meadows on top of the park & ride fee 👍

We recently enjoyed a fantastic day trip to Wentworth Woodhouse, and we’ve been absolutely delighted to receive some wonderful feedback from our passengers! ❤️

💬 “Fabulous day out, Zach was a real tonic! We were all delighted with the surprise cream tea. Zach poured the tea for us as the teapots were so heavy – and he’s now learnt how to use a tea strainer AND what a pastry fork is! 😂 It was a lovely day out for all.”
