An opportunity has arisen at A.S Taylor transport for an experienced and ambitious mechanic to join our team at Barton.

You will be part of a team responsible for the maintenance of the company fleet ensuring high service levels are maintained at all times.

Your daily duties will be.

• Vehicle maintenance and safety inspections.
• Daily trailer service/inspections.
• Carrying out running repairs.
• Complying with time recording procedures and ensuring all paperwork is completed accurately.
• Operate in a tidy and safe manner.

What you'll need to join our team.

• Qualification in heavy vehicle mechanics.
• Experience in the repair and maintenance of HGV vehicles and trailers.
• The ability to work under pressure.
• The ability to work as part of a team.
• Problem solving skills.
• Full HGV driving licence would be an advantage but not necessary.
