Something different this week. First-fix electrics on a VW Crafter camper project. Full Victron system with a roof rack full of solar panels, hidden shore hook-up, and alternator charging via DC-DC charger under bonnet. Eventually, the customer will fit a drop in Fogstar lithium battery and an android tablet control screen to complete the system once the van is fitted out.

An inaccessible coolant leak which had plagued the owner for years has now finally been rectified. We removed the engine and overhauled the entire cooling system with new hoses, clips and gaskets where required. The engine was then pressure tested before being reinstalled. Et voilà! No more leaks!

Full top end and fuel system rebuild on Ford XLD418 engine. Surprisingly the fault was not to do with the 10mm socket which we found inside of the engine! The 20 year old engine no longer smokes out the marina when running, and that's when you managed to start it at all! Now its up and running like new again.
