Throwback Thursday to 1996 (or maybe '97?) at the Royal Albert Dock in Liverpool - proudly standing in front of a massive model of the RMS Titanic 🚢

I’ve been fascinated by the Titanic ever since I was about 8 years old. The history, the engineering, the grandeur - it captured my imagination and never let go (see what I did there?). This day out as a kid was unforgettable, and clearly… the obsession was real 😄

Remember that trip to Italy I posted about a few weeks ago - Sorrento, the Colosseum, and seeing the Pope? 🇮🇹 This is how it all began...

Aboard a McDonnell Douglas DC-10, I was lucky enough to be invited into the cockpit mid-flight. Here I am, grinning from ear to ear with the pilot, first officer, and cabin crew - an absolute dream come true for 11-year-old me!

Obviously, this was back when visiting the cockpit was allowed, and flying felt like magic. Moments like this stick with you forever.

📸 Throwback Thursday to the 90s!

Here I am at the Colosseum in Rome - caught by a guard, no less! This was during an overnight trip while I was staying in stunning Sorrento. 🇮🇹

I was only 11, and sick all week (tomato allergy problems 😅), but it was still an unforgettable trip. I even got to see Pope John Paul II in St Peter’s Square—what a memory! 🙌

P.S. Does anyone else remember when writing the year as “9T9” was the cool thing to do… or was that just me? 😄
