I used to envy removals companies with this badge when I first started and here we are amongst the best of the best !

Seen as the gold standard for the removals industry and not just everyone and anyone can become a member, whilst we knew we already had the standards to apply because of our ISO accreditations we wanted to join as part of plans for the future through training, workshops and area meetings and most importantly meet new people inside the industry 😊

All credit to Jodie in the office keeping us compliant every step of the way !

This week Mark our chief faffer has officially been here 2 years now, never a dull moment when marks around and has grown to be a much loved team member !

And it’s lees birthday, Lee joined us over a year ago and is also a valued team member! Happy birthday Lee!

Lee started as the quiet one but we have all slowly transformed him, he also is looking forward to next years 3 peak challenge ⛰️

First ever PR story, am I famous now ? 🤣

It started with a rusty yellow van. Today, Craig Atkinson Removals Ltd has an 11-strong team, a growing fleet and ambitions that stretch across Europe.

What started as a small removals operation soon grew through word of mouth and social media, with Craig’s brothers, wife Jodie and the wider team all becoming part of the story.

And there have been plenty of memorable moments along the way, from getting stuck in heavy snow in Spain to moving a giant cardboard head and somehow ending up with a giant cow bench. 😅

Sorry to all the customers who’ve sent us cards and gifts over the years, but this customer has just top trumped the lot of you ✋🏼

One of our customers from 2025 turned up at the office today completely out of the blue, with a card and some choccies.
We’ve had our fair share of these from customers over the years and they always go down a treat with the team, but we were actually really confused with this one as it had been so long since the move.

It turned out, today actually marks a year since him and his wife moved into their new home, and therefore one year since we moved them in. They wanted to celebrate the anniversary of meeting us too 🥹

What sort of impression do you have to make for a customer to do that? We’ve even blown ourselves out of the water with this one.

We had a bit of a learning week last week📚

It was Burnley Business Week, and we joined a couple of the free training sessions that were on offer.

One was all about LinkedIn and getting your profile working a bit harder for you, and the other was all about social media and, more importantly, how to turn it into actual sales.

Both sessions were really good, with loads of useful tips, a few lightbulb moments and plenty for us to take away.

Now it’s just down to us to put it all into practice… no pressure! 😂

But we are heading to The Hunters Oak Retreat for a local version, organised by Farrar & Forbes Estate Agent to raise money for .

Tommy Turbo can turn his hand to pretty much anything… 🐢💪

But there’s one job he’s always wanted to do…
Forklift driver. 😂

So naturally, we gave him a chance.

Unfortunately, Tommy quickly discovered that wanting the job and actually fitting in the forklift are two very different things. 😂

After a lot of determination (and very little legroom), we’ve had to break the news to him…

Forklift driver probably isn’t going to work out.

Looks like he’ll be sticking to what he does best, standing around looking important and supervising everyone else. 🐢😂
