A huge thank you to all our customers who visited us during the Whitsun half-term. It has been such a lovely week, welcoming so many wonderful people enjoying the Bude Canal,

We are especially grateful to those of you who have been coming back year after year – some families have been visiting for generations, and your continued support means so much to us.

Bude Rowing Boats has been part of the Bude Canal for over 100 years, dating back to the 1920s, and we're proud to continue this special tradition for both locals and visitors alike.

We hope you all enjoyed your time on the canal and made some wonderful memories. Thank you for your support, your smiles, and for making this half-term so special. We look forward to welcoming you back again soon! 🚣🏽‍♂️

Launching a craft (including a canoe and kayak) on the Bude Canal? Please make sure you have a valid Day Permit or Seasonal Permit (available to buy online before launching any craft on the Bude Canal).

⚠️ The Bailiff has noticed that a number of canal users are still using expired permits. Seasonal Permits purchased before April 2026 expired on 31 March. Please remember to renew and purchase your 2026/27 permit before your next visit.

Your permit fees help support the maintenance and management of the canal, keeping this special waterway accessible for everyone to enjoy.

We are so excited to officially confirm that next month we will be opening our café at Norton Barton along with a farm shop where you can get all of our fantastic products as well as some of our other favourite goodies!!
