Buckie Harbour (Cluny Harbour) was built by the Cluny family in 1877 to replace the town's first stone harbour in Nether Buckie which was constructed in 1857 a mere mile or so to the west but had a tendency to silt up and become unusable. The decline of the fishing industry over the last 20-30 years in the UK has had an impa

ct on the port, like many others. Buckie Harbour is far from dead though with animal feeds, grain, stone, fish, manufactured goods and other commodities all being imported or exported. The team at Buckie Harbour are always looking for new opportunities to show what we can do for our customers.

Good morning, sorry I'm a bit late today. Its a dry cloudy day ahead with sunny spells in the afternoon and evening. Temperatures will reach 12°c and feel like 11°c at times . The wind will be from the west moving to the east later at 6-8mph with gusts to 12mph.
Tomorrow there will be rain in the afternoon with similar temperatures to today. The wind will be from the south at 5-12mph with gusts to 22mph. Sunday will be dry and slightly warmer and light winds. Sunday will definitely be the better day.

Good afternoon, it is with great regret that I will be closing this page down from tomorrow 29/4/22. This is due to changes being made by Facebook which I am unwilling to accept. I realise that many of you look for the forecast every day and often use it to plan your day so I can only apologise. I got a lot of satisfaction from providing the service and I loved getting to share my pictures with you. I appreciated all the kind words sent to me so to all those who interacted with me, thanks.
The harbour will of course move forward, we are trying to get a lot of work done over the next few years which will hopefully result in a more vibrant harbour again. Between the fishing fleet, cargo shipments, Windcats, Macduff Shipyards, Forsyth's and the many other companies currently looking at Buckie we will start to see changes very soon.

The weekend looks like it will be very similar to today but on Sunday the wind gusts will be a little stronger and there shouldn't be anymore mist.

Good morning, it will mostly be a cloudy day with some sunny spells in the evening. It will be a nice day though with a high temperature of 15°c feeling like 13°c. The wind will be from the SSE at 5-14mph with gusts to 25mph.
The weekend will continue much the same with both days staying dry and cloudy with sunny spells. The temperature will be similar as will the wind speeds and direction so all in all a pretty good Easter weekend.
