Meet Gwen one of our latest additions to Pitcombe Rock Falconry she is a very rare Long Eared Owl chick. She has been named I’m memory to a dear old lady who had a love of owls and which I had some personal dealings with in a professional capacity. Gwen sadly past away early this year and in respect of Gwen’ s love of owls the family arranged a generous collection at her funeral for the rescue and rehabilitation of birds at Pitcombe Rock Falconry. I was overwhelmed and so as a tribute we now have a rare owl named Gwen.

Today Pitcombe Rock Falconry we surprised Harry Potter with a special guest at his birthday party, Hedwig aka Winston made an appearance to complete his themed party. Lots of fun was had flying the birds in his garden.

This handsome chap came in today it’s a male Sparrow Hawk known as a Musket in the Falconry world we’ll feed him up and let him rest tonight then asses him in the morning Pitcombe Rock Falconry
