History is in the house! ⚓

Our boat restoration and maintenance team are currently hard at work providing some dedicated TLC to a truly legendary vessel: The Albert.

This Broom 45 holds a prestigious place in Norfolk history. Built in 1965 for a director of the iconic Norwich confectioner John Mackintosh & Co, she was designed by the legendary Arnott Fowler.

But her most illustrious moment? In November 1976, The Albert was chosen to ferry HM The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh from Horning Staithe for the opening of the Ranworth conservation centre! 👑

It is an absolute privilege to have such a storied piece of Broom heritage back with us, ensuring she remains in peak condition for many more years of cruising.

We are pleased to announce that after a short pause, diesel is once again available at our fuel kiosk. Whether you’re prepping for a weekend cruise or topping up after a trip, we’re ready to welcome you back to the water.

🕒 Opening Hours
Monday – Friday: 10:00 – 16:00

Saturday: 10:00 – 15:00

Sunday: Closed

⛽ Services & Pricing
Diesel: Featuring Shell GTL Fuel. A cleaner-burning, FAME-free alternative to conventional diesel that reduces emissions without requiring engine modifications.

Pump-out: £25 (plus £5 per subsequent tank).

Water: Free for all visitors.

Why Shell GTL? It’s a "drop-in" fuel made from natural gas, offering better low-temperature performance and a healthier environment for your crew and the local community. No modifications, no hassle—just cleaner cruising.

We are delighted to share a recent milestone in the production of our first new-generation Broom boat!

We have just completed the installation of the fully electric cockpit roof on the Broom F46, "Admiral." At the touch of a button, the roof slides back to create a seamless, open-air environment—perfect for making the most of the spring sunshine.

We are now in the final phase of the build, with completion due in the coming weeks. We are incredibly excited to see her launch in mid-March! 🌊
