Like everyone else, we've been watching the recent fuel shortages and wholesale price increases with concern. While global events and political decisions continue to impact fuel supplies and costs, we want to reassure our customers that we are doing everything we can to keep our diesel prices as low and as fair as possible.
We know that many boaters rely on affordable fuel, whether you're cruising the waterways, living aboard, or simply enjoying a day out. That's why we're committed to keeping our margins sensible and only passing on genuine increases when absolutely necessary.
As always, we'll continue to monitor the situation closely and work with our suppliers to secure the best possible prices for our customers.

Fresh Steel on the floor 🛠️

Work has officially started on our next two steel canal boats. Both are tailored for very different waterways, but each represents a unique piece of engineering.

Here is a look at what is currently taking shape in the workshop:

1. ABC Leisure Group
Specification: 49’6” V-bottom hull
Destination: The Monmouthshire & Brecon Canal

Building for the Mon & Brec requires a specific touch. The V-bottom hull design is engineered precisely to handle the unique profile and shallow edges of this historic Welsh waterway.

2. Seagull Trust (Falkirk)
Specification: 45’ x 10’ wide-beam hull
Destination: Falkirk, Scotland

This build is headed north to the Falkirk branch of the Seagull Trust, a charity providing canal cruises for people with disabilities.

From holiday hires to community cruising in Scotland, these two projects perfectly highlight the variety of the work we do. We will share progress updates as the fabrications move forward.

Another one hits the water! 🌊

Check out this new canal boat we just finished for ABC, ready for them to fit her out. 🛠️

We’ve delivered the boat to a sailaway stage, and now the ABC team will be completing the interior fit-out before she joins their hire fleet.
