Welcome to the fleet F24 ATL.

Last week we added another truck to the fleet and I decided to give the truck a bit of a glow up before putting it on the road.

So after collecting the truck from North Yorkshire on Monday morning the truck underwent a full service, MOT, tacho calibration, an extra fuel tank was fitted, alloy wheels all round and the front tyres upgraded to super singles, a new set of headlights, new mattress for the bunk, sign write the cab, assign the private registration, polish the cab and paint the fuel tanks and cat walk into white. Just the sunvisor left to fit when it arrives and the microwave, fridge and cameras to be installed next week by our electrician and the truck will be 100% done

A lot of hours were put in over the last seven days to get the truck ready and with help from Jon and Micheal at the weekend we were able to make sure the truck was completed by Sunday and ready to go to work this morning. I'm very pleased with what we were able to achieve in 7 days getting this truck turned around and out the door ready to be put to work as soon as possible. βšͺ️⚫️

A big shout out to Keeley Truck Services!!

I recently bought a secondhand trailer to add to the fleet which was sold to me needing a new tail lift (which I was aware of when buying). I called in a tail lift "specialist" to go over options and when all was said and done they just didn't have the spuds to take on the job and get it done!
That's when my maintenance provider stepped up and told me they'll get the job done πŸ’ͺ

So with that I sourced a second hand tail lift to replace it with and we got to work. The two tail lifts were completely different so it ment making alterations to fit the new lift to the trailer. First job was carried out by me removing the original tail lift that has be fitted to the trailer for the last 20 years so as you can imagine it required a lot of WD40, fire, uga dugas, fire, cutting discs and patience but 7 hours later at 2100 on the Thursday night the old tail lift was off.

The next day me and Andy got to work at 0800 with Jay joining us an hour later and the 3 of us working non stop stripping the new lift down servicing and replacing parts, measuring, drilling, welding and installing the new tail lift to the trailer. From 1800 onwards it was just me and Andy cutting welding and adjusting the final bits and tidying up all of the cables to finish off the job. We finally had the job done and the lift operational at 2200 on the Friday night ready for the trailer to head out to work in the early hours on the Monday morning.

I honestly cannot praise Andy and his lads enough for the job the do for me servicing and maintaining my fleet. In a time where everyone on the peripheral of transport can operate with absolute incompetence but still remain in business and οΏΌfinding heavy mechanics is hard and there are a lot out there that are useless but still busy because they are in short supply it's refreshing to do business with people who always come through on their promises and and provide a top notch service!

Today marks two years since Aztec Trucking Limited began trading.
It has certainly been an eventful two years with plenty of ups and a few downs as the business continues to steadily grow. I would like to thank all of our customers for their support so far and I look forward to continued success going forward.
Last night both drivers were able to get parked up outside of their preferred dining establishment for the evening where they were treated to a meal on the company to thank them for all of their hard work especially the driver of the Mercedes who has an unparalleled work ethic! πŸ˜‰πŸŸ’βšͺ️
